BROADWAY ACTRESS PAIGE PRICE TO APPEAR IN HOMETOWN BENEFIT FOR BROOK THEATRE

New Jersey native Paige Price will present her one-woman musical show entitled “The eX-Files” at the Brook Arts Center one night only on Friday, November 17th at 8:00 p.m. Ms. Price, who has starred in the Broadway shows Saturday Night Fever, Smokey Joe’s Café, and Beauty and the Beast, returns to her hometown in a benefit for the newly renovated Brook Arts Center. which was devastated by Hurricane Floyd in 1999. “The eX-Files” is a collection of mostly true, mostly comic stories, about life and love in the big city. The show was featured on ABC’s The View and has played various venues in New York City. This version will be adapted for the expected local crowd to include tales from the actress’ career. Joy Behar - of ABC's The View says "It's hard enough for women comedians to get a date - now this? I guarantee you, she's going to get an HBO special out of this." She’s going to by hysterical.” Musical Director is Ed Alstrom, currently a member of the orchestra of the Broadway’s “Hairspray” and who is also the New York Yankees official organist. Alstrom accompanied Price at her previously sold out show of “The eX-Files” at the Zipper Theatre in New York. The 60-minute show will be presented November 17th, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to the performance. Tickets are $35 and are tax-deductible.
