Bound Brook To Hold Halloween Costume Contest and Parade on October 31st Downtown
Bound Brook-The Borough of Bound Brook invites all ghouls and goblins downtown to its annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest on October 31, 2007 starting at 6:30pm. The event is sponsored in part by the Borough, Ben Auletta, Jr. – Disc Jockey Entertainer, Valley National Bank of Bound Brook and J&S Multi-Service Enterprise. It will feature a parade down Main Street followed by a costume contest. Categories for the contest will be by age. The age groups are infant to 3 years, 4 to 7 years, 8 to 12 years, 13 to 16 years and adults (17 and Older). Cash prizes for first, second and third place will be awarded.
Free refreshment will be provided to all. Bound Brook High School Foods Classes will provide cupcakes. ShopRight Of Bound Brook will supply cider. Ben Auletta, Jr. – Disc Jockey Entertainer will provide scary music and MC the event. Also announcing will be Councilmen Javier Vasquez.
The event will take place downtown at the commuter lot starting at 6:30pm. The commuter lot is located at the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Main Street in Bound Brook across from the new downtown Dunkin Donuts.
