PTO Co-Presidents Hayley McHendry and Margaret Lyons said, "This year, we are stressing the spirit of giving during the holidays. We are running the Toys for Tots drive with the US Marine Corps, and are taking donations for the Somerset County Food Bank. Charity Morris is this year’s chairperson for the event. With her experience and creativity we know it will be a success!"

Admission to the event is $2, and families are also asked to bring some groceries for the Food Bank of Somerset County and a toy for the Toys for Tots drive.

Children will enjoy crafts and snacks will be provided. There will be a visit from Santa Claus, and the Bound Brook Area Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to take free Polaroid pictures of the children with Santa.

Following this event, the Chamber will hold its second annual tree-lighting at Billian/Legion Park on East Main Street . The ceremony, featuring holiday music, cider and cookies (while supplies last), will begin at 5 p.m.
