"Achieving Simplicity"

All persons interested in photography are welcome to join members of
the Club for this presentation.

Joseph R. Thomas is an award winning photographer, writer and
lecturer, noted for his pictorial and nature photography. He is the recipient
of many honors including a citation from the NJ Federation of Camera
Clubs for his work in this state. Joe is a longtime member, past president
and past vice president of the Essex County Camera Club and is presently
a member of its Board of Directors as well as judge chairman. Over the
course of 20 years Joe has judged competitions at many clubs in New
Jersey, Westchester and Staten Island. He has also taught photography
courses at the Montclair Adult School for the last 16 years and has
produced more than 50 slide shows which have been shown at clubs
within the Federation and elsewhere.

His presentation will give examples of nine techniques anyone can use to
achieve the kind of simplicity that is the hallmark of so
many striking photographs.

Guests are invited to attend this educational program.

Attendees are encouraged to come in at 7:00 p.m. for socializing.
Meetings start promptly at 7:30 p.m.

The Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings of each month
(September through June) at the Bound Brook Memorial Library.
Programs include competitions and/or instructional presentations.
